Youth Drama Team
The Youth Drama team exists to glorify God by performing theater for those who might not otherwise have an opportunity to see it (i.e., nursing homes, assisted living facilities, etc.), thereby extending God's love and kingdom to the sick, needy, abandoned and hurting. We provide a drama opportunity to students who may not otherwise have the chance to participate in a theater group, which allows them to develop friendships, and grow in service to others. Ultimately we desire to allow God to use the gifts He gave us to further His kingdom.
The Youth Drama Team presented the musical, "HONK! Jr." on April 21, 2013 at 3pm at Centerville High School, and April 26 at 7pm at Van Buren Middle School.

We are very excited about a partnership with the Miami Valley Downs Syndrome Association as our ministry outreach this year. If you would like to help out with the drama in the future or have any questions, please contact Diana Notaro atDiana.Notaro@isponline.org or 902-1713 or Nancy Stemberski at okityphoon@gmail.com or 353-3189.

This year our youth drama team will be presenting
Beauty and the Beast Jr. We will be performing from April 13-22 on
various dates, and have reserved our
April 15 3:00 p.m. performance at Centerville High School and our April 20 7:00 p.m. performance at Van
Buren Middle School for our SDPC family to attend.
We are still in need of a few things as soon as
possible to make this happen!
·
Occasional help with music
preparation on Friday nights. Contact
Diana Notaro for details (ispdiana@gmail.com or 937-902-1713).
·
Photography at dress rehearsals
and/or performances.
·
Sound technician -- need 1 - 2 for
each performance. Will train how to do it.
·
Set crew -- need 2 or 3. At least one or two of them to be men as
requires lifting heavier type props.
·
"Stage moms" to help
with costumes and control backstage.
·
Set building help -- on Friday
evenings.
If you can help out in any of these ways, please
contact Nancy Stemberski at 353-3189 or nancystemberski@southdaytonpca.com
